AlphaPhiSummer@gmail.com						Alpha Phi sorority at the University of California, Berkeley offers charming, friendly and safe summer housing in Berkeley, California.  While Alpha Phi rents to women only, summer residents do not need to be members of the sorority, nor enrolled in summer school. Alpha Phi is one block from the University of California, Berkeley, and a 20-25 minute walk to BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit), which takes riders to the heart of downtown San Francisco as well as other parts of the bay area.  Other nearby attractions include the Telegraph Avenue shopping district, Tilden Park, Memorial Stadium, the University Art Museum, International House, and many cafes, restaurants, and bookstores. Clean and spacious single, double, or triple rooms are available by advance reservation. Some rooms feature views of the entire San Francisco Bay, including the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco skyline.  Each resident is provided a bed, desk, dresser and closet space, and linens (towels and bedding) are available on request, for those visiting residents traveling from abroad.  Along with beautiful bedrooms, Alpha Phi also offers daily common-room cleaning service to ensure the bathrooms, kitchenette, study lounge and TV room are comfortable and welcoming. Renovated showers are semi-private, hot water is plentiful, and there is never a wait.  The house boasts a beautiful, private sundeck that gets direct sunlight from sunup to sundown so residents can enjoy Berkeley’s beautiful summer weather without leaving the comfort of home. This summer, we are pleased to announce that we will have a full meal service with three full meals per day, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays—Memorial Day and Independence Day). This includes a hearty and healthy breakfast, a delicious sack-lunch, and a hot, full dinner. We have a wonderful chef who will be preparing these meals daily. Also, residents have access to a stocked kitchenette, including coffee maker, toaster, microwave oven, toaster oven, small Foreman grill, freezer, and refrigerators. The above-mentioned food service and kitchen privileges are included in weekly rent. Pricing for Summer 2009 at Alpha Phi: $255 per person per week for single occupancy* $215 per person per week for double occupancy* $195 per person per week for triple occupancy* $185 per person per week for quadruple occupancy* *price now includes 3 Full Meals for 5 days a week NEW THIS YEAR!!!!... A reservation deposit of $200 is required to hold your spot (see details on Reservation Form). Accommodations are available from Sunday, May 24, 2009 through Saturday, August 15, 2009, according to the schedule set forth in the reservation form below. Check-in is Sunday at 1pm, check-out is Saturday by noon. Late arrivals can be accommodated with prior arrangement.
